a. To determine the education, work experience, knowledge and skill status of the personnel to be placed in the titles in the organization chart of the General Directorate and to define the authority for the duties to be assigned to these persons.
b. To carry out the personal transactions of the officers and contracted personnel in the General Directorate.
c. To make a proposal to the Personnel Department for the appointment of candidate civil servants to the primary civil service.
d. To preserve the personal files of the personnel working in the General Directorate.
e. To ensure the distribution of duties of the personnel.
f. To carry out the work and transactions regarding the unpaid leave requests of the staff.
g. To make a proposal to the Personnel Department regarding the transfer and retirement procedures of the officers, workers and contracted personnel, to carry out / follow up all kinds of transactions regarding the starting and quitting dates.
h. Working in coordination with the Personnel Department regarding the personnel affairs of the personnel.
I. To prepare the evaluation and score scale of the personnel working in the units.
j. To obtain the approval of the personnel who will benefit from the Additional Special Service Compensation (Big Project) and language compensation.
k. To carry out the Secretariat services of the General Directorate.
l. To carry out work and transactions related to Occupational Health and Safety.
m. To carry out the training activities of the General Directorate.
n. To carry out the work and operations related to the determination and provision of all the maintenance and repair needs of the buildings used in the General Directorate Service.
o. To fulfill the works and procedures related to cleaning and transportation services.
p. To carry out and control the general Directorate social services.
r. To carry out transactions related to assignments of vehicles and drivers within and outside the city.
s. To carry out incoming and outgoing paperwork.
t. To take the necessary precautions against fires as deemed required.
u. To determine the archive principles of the General Directorate and to ensure the implementation of these principles. To collect and keep the archive documents of the Departments affiliated to the General Directorate. To carry out the compiling, sorting and sorting of all kinds of archive materials so that they can be used at any time. To take measures to prevent the destruction of archive material. To determine the principles of benefiting from the archives, to evaluate the research requests in the archives and to give permission when necessary. To divide the archival material that has completed its storage period as "to be transferred to the Institution's Archive" and to transfer it to the institution's archive with logbooks or leaflets accordingly.
v. To fulfill similar duties assigned by the Head of Department.
