a. To carry out the works and procedures related to the preparation, commissioning and approval of national parks, natural parks, natural monuments, nature conservation areas, natural protected areas, wetlands, special environmental protection zones and other areas with similar protection status, determining the protection and construction conditions of all types and scales of environmental plan, master and implementation zoning plans,  conservation plans, to fulfill requests for opinions, information and documents regarding these plans,

b. To carry out the works and procedures related to the preparation, commissioning and approval of master and application zoning plans and conservation plans of all types and scales of natural assets and areas with natural site status, which determine the conservation and usage conditions by taking the opinion of the relevant Ministries, in places where they overlap in terms of historical, archaeological and urban sites and other areas with protection status; to fulfill requests for opinions, information and documents regarding these plans accordingly,

c. To carry out the works and procedures specified in the Decree No. 383 regarding planning in special environmental protection zones,

d. To carry out preliminary survey, analysis and synthesis studies and geological-geotechnical studies that will be the basis of the above-mentioned planning studies, to have them carried out properly, or to ensure that they are prepared by the relevant institutions accordingly,

e. To fulfill similar duties assigned by the general manager regarding the field of activity.
