a. To conduct the works and procedures, as well as developing projects for taking all necessary measures to monitor and protect biological diversity and habitats,

b. To identify the conservation measures related to land and aquaculture fishing, to notify the relevant institutions and organizations accordingly,

c. To inform the relevant institutions and provide financial support for the disposal of solid wastes in order to protect biological diversity and habitats,

d. To cooperate with relevant institutions and organizations on the protection of species and habitats protected by international convention and national legislation, following the legislation, as well as preparing reports and presenting opinions accordingly,

e. To fulfill other duties assigned by the head of department related to the field of activity.
