In places where natural assets and natural protected areas overlap with special environmental protection zones and other areas with similar protection status;

To carry out works and procedures regarding taking all necessary measures to monitor and protect biological diversity and habitats, and to develop projects accordingly,

To identify the conservation measures related to land and aquaculture fishing and to notify the relevant institutions and organizations,

By determining the procedures and principles regarding the protection of all kinds of receiving environments from contamination, to monitor the polluting facilities and activities determined in accordance with the relevant legislation and to ensure that the necessary measures are taken, to give opinions accordingly on such  matters,

To make management plans and monitoring their implementation,

to evaluate studies all kinds of research, investigation, archaeological excavation, etc. including film shooting permission requests and EIA reports and to give opinions accordingly on such matters,

To establish training, implementation and rehabilitation centers regarding endangered species and habitats and to carry out the works and procedures as deemed required accordingly,

To conduct all kinds of research and investigation activities for the determination of natural values ??and biological diversity in special environmental protection zones and other areas with similar protection status,

To determine the procedures and principles regarding the determination, registration, approval, amendment and announcement of special environmental protection zones,

To carry out works and procedures related to the world's natural heritage sites,

To monitor and coordinate national and international works on fightng against climate change and to determine the ecological corridors in protected areas, to establish the legislation on necessary issues,

To identify important landscape areas with land degradation caused by climate change in protected areas and to conduct studies for the rehabilitation of these areas.

To determine the effects of Climate Change on the protected area, to determine the relevant policies and strategies accordingly.

To fulfill similar duties assigned by the general manager regarding the field of activity.
