a. To carry out research and investigation activities of SEPA regions and world natural heritage areas, to carry out all kinds of works and procedures related to the approval, registration and announcement of these areas

b. To identify the criteria for the registration and announcement of the SEPA regions and the world natural heritage areas, as well as establishing the necessary legal regulations accordingly,

c. To carry out work and procedures regarding the judicial processes related to the SEPA regions and the world natural heritage areas,

d. To report the information obtained after the registration to the Inventory Branch Office,

e. To fulfill other duties assigned by the head of department related to the field of activity.
