a. To make management plans and monitor their implementation in natural assets and natural protected areas, special environmental protection zones and areas with similar protection status.

b. To determine the procedures and principles regarding the protection of all kinds of receiving environments from pollution, to follow up the polluting facilities and activities determined according to the relevant legislation and to ensure that the necessary measures are taken, to present opinions accordingly,

c. To conduct water quality monitoring studies in sea, lake and river areas,

d. To ensure the implementation and monitoring of research, to ensure the monitoring and conservation of project results data,

e. To take the necessary precautions (or to contract a third party to do so) and to inspect them, to present opinions regarding all kinds of activities that will disturb the ecological balance,

f. To evaluate permit requests for activities such as investigation, research, photography, film shooting etc. in protected areas. ,

g. To fulfill other duties assigned by the head of department related to the field of activity
