In natural protected areas and natural assets and in special environmental protection areas;

a. To examine the projects of the relevant administrations deemed appropriate to be financially supported by the General Directorate, and if deemed necessary, as well as supporting the project procurement,

b. In order to prevent pollution and protect the nature, to prepare projects on drinking water supply, sewerage network and wastewater treatment plant, solid waste landfill, solid waste transfer station and equipment, use of renewable energy resources, coastal, facade and environmental arrangements, as deemed required by the General Directorate,

c. To carry out or contract a third party to carry out inspections on the superstructure and infrastructure constructions as decided to be built by the General Directorate,

d. To present opinions to the relevant administrations regarding infrastructure applications, while ensuring coordination with the implementation programs to be prepared by the relevant administrations,

e. To fulfill other duties assigned by the Head of Department related to the field of activity.
