a. In areas with protection status such as natural heritage and natural protected areas and special environmental protection zones;

b. To ensure the provision of maps that will form a basis for the work and operations of the General Directorate, to create, approve and procure maps (or to contract a third party to do so) that will form a basis for planning studies,

c. To make parceling plans in order to ensure the implementation of the implementation development plans approved by the General Directorate,

d. To carry out the cleaning and expropriation procedures of private property that is restricted to use in natural sites and special environmental protection areas,

e. To carry out the works and procedures on natural heritage, special environmental protection zones and natural sites in areas under the authority and responsibility of our Ministry,

f. To give opinion on the allocation, sale, work and transactions of natural assets, special environmental protection zones and lands under the jurisdiction and possession of the Treasury and the State, and immovables from public institutions and organizations,

g. To carry out leasing, granting, operating or operating permits for natural assets, Special Environmental Protection Zones and areas under the jurisdiction and disposal of the State within natural protected areas, following up the processes accordingly and contracting a third party to do so,

h. To present opinions on the leasing of natural assets, special environmental protection zones and treasury immovables and lands under the jurisdiction and possession of the State and immovables from public institutions and organizations,

i. To present opinions on requests regarding work and transactions related to recreation areas,

j. To preserve the border coordinates of the protected areas and all kinds of information and documents based on detection and registration,

k. To keep an inventory of protected areas and natural assets,

l. To fulfill similar duties assigned by the general manager regarding the field of activity.
